Sombrilla Springs is a glamping destination, and a wedding and event venue located outside beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado on Reed Hare Ranch, a still-working cattle-horse ranch. Our glamping hub doubling as a wedding and event space is the centerpiece — a dairy barn originally built in 1932. We originally restored it ourselves — enhancing it with modern amenities, while retaining its breathtaking charm. Then HGTV’s Building Roots put their stunning touch on it too in September 2021! [To see both transformations, click here.] It’s a truly unique and stunning venue for your mountain wedding or event of any kind — weddings, family reunions, glamping groups, yoga retreats, 50th wedding anniversaries. You name it, we’ll make it happen!
Behind the Sombrilla Springs barn, we offer beautifully appointed luxury glamping tents that sleep a total of 34. They’re located in a stunning aspen grove that overlooks the pasture, valley, barn and surrounding mountains. These tents are ideal for wedding, group retreat and event guests that love the feel and beauty of camping, but enjoy pillow-topped mattresses and luxury linens over sleeping bags. We welcome couple and family bookings too, as six of our tents sleep 5-6 on queens and twins, and one sleeps 2 on a king.

The Ranch

Our wedding and event facility is located outside Pagosa Springs in southwest Colorado, surrounded by the picture-perfect San Juan Mountains. Pagosa Springs is a quaint mountain town that has grown to offer its guests modern conveniences while maintaining its charm. The Wolf Creek ski area is about 30 minutes north and Durango is 45 minutes west.
