For your group retreat, we offer beautifully appointed luxury glamping tents that sleep 34 total (and more in pop-up tents, if needed). Our campground resides in a stunning aspen grove that overlooks the pasture, valley, restored barn and surrounding San Juan mountains. Our glamping tents are ideal for group-retreat, event and wedding guests that love the feel and beauty of camping, but enjoy pillow-topped mattresses and luxury linens over sleeping bags.
2024 RATES (PER TENT) — $275/couple + $75 per additional guest. $125 cleaning fee. These rates do not apply to holidays or include taxes. Please use our inquiry form to get the most accurate pricing for the dates of your stay.

MEALS — A daily, delicious ranch breakfast is included in your group’s stay which will feature local and regional ingredients (some from our own organic garden). Lunches and dinners can be handled by us, or we can stock the barn’s kitchen and your group can prepare its favorites.

THE BARN — For group retreats, our event barn transforms into your group’s kitchen, dining area and den, as well as an activity center for media or movie watching, yoga sessions, game nights, meetings, wine tastings, stargazing on the balcony and more. It also offers additional showers and restrooms.

— Art lesson on the barn balcony featuring different mediums to create a masterpiece of the Basin by local artist.
— Photography class via ranch tour as local photographer instructs on accomplishing the best shots.
— Hike to Opal Lake or nearby waterfalls to paint, draw or photograph.
Bachelorette Parties
— Memory slideshow on the barn’s projector screen followed by dinner of choice (see meal-prep options below).
— Scavenger hunt around ranch for the bride’s favorite things

For lunches and dinners, any combination of the options below can be utilized during a your group’s weekend…
1) Guests bring groceries and prepare their own lunches and dinners.
2) Group provides a shopping list and Sombrilla Springs stocks the kitchen so your group can prepare its favorites for lunches and dinners.
3) Sombrilla Springs provides all meals, e.g. according to your group’s preferences or choose from sample menus — anything from plated high-end fare to elk spaghetti or Kobe steaks.
